We would like to introduce our company to you, how we came to be established, and the products the we can offer to you and your customers. We are your only source for English Wooden Field gates made in America and the Ceiling Mounted Drying Racks imported from England.
Ben Adriance - Cabinetmaker of North Sandwich, NH, started ADRILY GATES in the Spring of 2008 to offer quality mortise and tenon Classic Wooden English Field Gates. These gates have been made in England for over two hundred years and are used for driveway entrances, field entrances and other aress. Our gates are currently custom made in three styles up to twelve feet in length using quality field gate hardware imported from England. All are sold with or without the hardware.
His interest in the Classic Wooden English Field Gate has transformed over time. For many years he has made numerous trips to England not only for vacations, but to visit with family. He always thought they added a dimension to properties and would fit well into all types of properties across the United States and Canada. The gates would work as well on farms, rural or residential properties just as they do England. Once he became a horse owner, it made sense to add them to his product line and make them available to customers.
At the present time our gates are being made using Pressure Treated Lumber. The Pressure Treated Lumber is locally hand selected in standard dimensions. The gates can also be special ordered in Northern White Cedar which is milled for us in a Vermont mill. We re-mill both to our exact requirements. Either can be painted or stained as wished. Other woods are available by special request. The gates, as they are custom made, can be made to specific in- between sizes if desired.
The hardware that ADRILY Gates uses has remained unchanged in England for over one hundred years. It is a heavy duty galvanized steel and is also available in a black powdered paint over galvanized steel. The hinges wrap around the gate and are adjustable allowing for movement in the ground in case of ground frost. We utilize specific hardware for specific applications.
